DevInsights conducted a Rapid Outcome Verification Surveyand Evidence Report for the WE-LIVES (Women Empowerment by Livelihood Improvement through Value Chain Enhancement and Skilling) project implemented by AIFT. The programme aims to strengthen women’s economic empowerment by enabling sustainable livelihoods for SHG-affiliated women through skill development, enterprise promotion, market linkages, and financial inclusion.

The study adopted a cross-sectional mixed-method approach, combining quantitative surveys with 224 women beneficiaries and qualitative interviews with beneficiaries, family members, SHG representatives, and market actors. The assessment examined key outcomes related to income enhancement, enterprise continuity, market access, and financial resilience, while also exploring enabling factors and sustainability of livelihood pathways.

DevInsights delivered end-to-end evaluation services, including study design, tool development, sampling, field implementation, dataquality assurance, and analysis. The findings generated actionable insights to strengthen programme implementation, support learning, and inform scalability of women-led livelihood interventions.
